What does it mean to "be orange" at Wartburg?

"Be Orange" doesn't just refer to our highly visible school color. Orange is bold and distinctive, just like Wartburg. Being orange at Wartburg means being different; it's about being you. Wartburg students are proud of who they are as individuals, and they are comfortable expressing their own ideas, opinions, personalities and quirks. Still, they are glad to be part of a united campus where students support each other as friends, roommates, classmates, and teammates.

Wartburg students want to stand out and put their gifts to good use, and they want to support others doing the same. They are involved, busy and multi-talented. Wartburg students know how to balance school, activities and social life. They work hard, have fun, manage their time and graduate in four years. Need more reasons to be orange?
